To My Son

Filed under: Day to Day Life — aliceaudrey @ 3:06 pm

My son likes to lick.  Nothing I do makes him stop.  So when he licked my hand, I  rubbed it all over his face.  He laughed and turned his head this way and that.  We were having a pretty good time with it.  I told him to lick my hand again because it was drying off, and he started blowing at it to dry it faster.  He was so cute going “puff, puff, puff” on my hand.  So I threatened to blog about him.  He doesn’t think I’ll really do it.  Hah!

  1. Just love all the silly habits kids have — my daughter played with string (running it through her fingers like a rosary) — could she be a reincarnated nun?

My 3 yo bites his finger nails — I think when he was little he’d even bit his toenails.

My youngest is still on a bottle (yeah, yeah, I know. . . sigh) and when he is nursing, he’ll pull off his right shoe and sock and then caress his right cheek with his toes! Beats me what he’ll do when he’s not limber enough to get his feet up to his face!

  2. My 13 1/2 month old granddaughter has discovered a new trick. We were at my sister’s house and Kayleen was giving kisses. She went to kiss my sister’s cheek, and took a big bite. That is one habit that hopefully won’t last long!

She also likes to play with hair especially when she is getting sleepy and having a bottle. She grabs the hair of whoever is holding her and rubs it on her face. If she can’t reach it, she grabs her own (and she doesn’t have much).
