Quiet Days

Filed under: Day to Day Life, What Are You Reading? — aliceaudrey @ 9:06 am

It’s a quiet day today.  Hardly anyone has come by my blog, and not many are likely to.  On days like this I feel a wild urge to do something crazy and say something I shouldn’t.  It’s like being the hair cutting heroine from Susan Elizabeth Phillips book This Heart of Mine.

Down, Alice.  Down!

  1. Weekends are usually quiet.

I know just what you mean!

I started a post today, then had to leave the house. Thank goodness, or I would have stuck my foot in it for sure.

  2. It seems like it’s the only time I get to wind down.

  3. Isn’t it funny how weekends – the time we’re generally supposed to have “free” – can sometimes end up being the time when we’re busiest, and unable to come out to play?

  4. Yep — I’ve been busy, busy, busy this weekend.

Luckily all my kids are on the upswing of their viruses/snotty noses/coughs, so next week looks like a “normal” one, thank goodness!

Hope you had a good one!

  5. Now I want to know what you would have said. 🙂

  6. I’ll never tell, Sara. 😀 Mostly because I can’t remember.

My weekends tend to be all over the map. Sometimes I have plenty of time to blog. Sometimes I’m busy with laundry.
